“A toast for”
The weather in Tbilisi this week has been variable, as far as the changes in my mood and creative inspirations. I started working with Josepa and Michèl with great satisfaction: the clubbing project was transformed. It is very complex to teach a new group a training that requires a lot of time and constant energy. We decided to turn it into a work about solitude and the attempt to create a community exclusively through movement, attempting to fill the void between bodies.
We are developing the dramaturgy bearing in mind the variability of the context, the possibility of failure and enjoyment of a dance that does not search for an explosion, does not seek the climax, the success, but remains in a continuous prelude.
We did two trips in the Georgian countryside, in Marneuli and Sagarejo: the enthusiasm of discovering an artist who - in the isolation of his village - builds imaginative puppets, strange creatures, together with the story that everyone carries with them. He showed us little performative pieces - as a grand gala of celebrities, totally within its living room. Moreover, the cake cooked by his mother was absolutely fantastic.
We saw Georgian dances, performed by very young teenagers and children with a huge amount of energy and as much enthusiasm to want to teach us a few steps.
We visited the home of Mikheil Javakhishvili, a writer who was tortured and persecuted during the Soviet occupation. I was struck by the attempt to preserve his writings, memories, and the value of his thought: not only as a matter of identity, but as a political challenge to the attempt to erase his traces. The traces are not immobile within the objects, but are dynamic objects, ready to re-emerge when they are missed.
Something exceptional is springing up in the countryside an hour from Tbilisi: I was very tired, but not tired enough not to see how in the middle of nature - in the middle of nowhere - a centre is growing to host local artists and the community. Creating attention, interest and development for an area through sharing and cultural spaces.
We discovered how important toasts and listening to those who propose them are in Georgia. You can build interesting stories through the toasts of a table of people who know each other, but not too well.

"სადღეგრძელო"
ამ კვირაში თბილისში ამინდი ცვალებადი იყო, რაც შეეხება ჩემს განწყობას და შემოქმედებით ინსპირაციას. ხოსეპასა და მიშელთან მუშაობა დიდი კმაყოფილებით დავიწყე: კლუბის პროექტი გარდაიქმნა. ძალიან რთულია ახალ ჯგუფს ასწავლო ტრენინგი, რომელიც დიდ დროს და მუდმივ ენერგიას მოითხოვს. ჩვენ გადავწყვიტეთ გადაგვექცია ნაწარმოებად მარტოობისა და საზოგადოების შექმნის მცდელობა ექსკლუზიურად მოძრაობის გზით, სხეულებს შორის არსებული სიცარიელის შევსების მცდელობად.
ჩვენ ვავითარებთ დრამატურგიას კონტექსტის ცვალებადობის გათვალისწინებით, წარუმატებლობის შესაძლებლობას და ცეკვის სიამოვნებას, რომელიც არ ეძებს აფეთქებას, არ ეძებს კულმინაციას, წარმატებას, მაგრამ რჩება უწყვეტ პრელუდიაში.
ჩვენ ორი მოგზაურობა გავაკეთეთ საქართველოს სოფლებში, მარნეულსა და საგარეჯოში: ენთუზიაზმი აღმოაჩინა მხატვარი, რომელიც - თავისი სოფლის იზოლაციაში - აშენებს წარმოსახვით თოჯინებს, უცნაურ არსებებს, იმ ამბავთან ერთად, რომელსაც ყველა თან ატარებს. მან გვაჩვენა პატარა პერფორმატიული ნამუშევრები - როგორც ცნობილი ადამიანების გრანდიოზული გალა, მთლიანად მის მისაღები ოთახში. უფრო მეტიც, დედის მიერ მომზადებული ტორტი აბსოლუტურად ფანტასტიკური იყო.
ჩვენ ვნახეთ ქართული ცეკვები, რომლებსაც ასრულებდნენ ძალიან ახალგაზრდა თინეიჯერები და ბავშვები დიდი ენერგიით და იმდენი ენთუზიაზმით, რომ გვინდოდა რამდენიმე ნაბიჯი გვესწავლებინა.
საბჭოთა ოკუპაციის დროს ნაწამები და დევნილი მწერლის, მიხეილ ჯავახიშვილის სახლში ვესტუმრეთ. გამაოგნა მცდელობამ, შემენარჩუნებინა მისი ნაწერები, მოგონებები და მისი აზრის ღირებულება: არა მხოლოდ როგორც იდენტობის საკითხი, არამედ როგორც პოლიტიკური გამოწვევა მისი კვალის წაშლის მცდელობისთვის. კვალი არ არის უმოძრაო ობიექტების შიგნით, მაგრამ არის დინამიური ობიექტები, რომლებიც მზად არიან ხელახლა აღმოცენდეს, როდესაც ისინი გამოტოვებულია.
თბილისიდან ერთი საათის დაშორებით სოფლად რაღაც გამონაკლისი ჩნდება: ძალიან დავიღალე, მაგრამ არც ისე დაღლილი, რომ არ დამენახა, როგორ იზრდება ბუნების შუაგულში - ცენტრი, რომელიც მასპინძლობს ადგილობრივ ხელოვანებს და საზოგადოებას. ტერიტორიისთვის ყურადღების, ინტერესისა და განვითარების შექმნა გაზიარებისა და კულტურული სივრცეების მეშვეობით.
ჩვენ აღმოვაჩინეთ, რამდენად მნიშვნელოვანია საქართველოში სადღეგრძელოები და მათი მოსმენა, ვინც მათ გვთავაზობს. თქვენ შეგიძლიათ ააწყოთ საინტერესო ისტორიები იმ ადამიანების სადღეგრძელოების მეშვეობით, რომლებიც ერთმანეთს იცნობენ, მაგრამ არც ისე კარგად.
